*Saint Modestino (245-311 A.D.), Patron Saint of Avellino, Italy, was born of Nobility. The Festival of the Patron Saint Modestino is held every Feb. 14th in Avellino.

*Domenico Modestino, a Franciscan Priest in the poorer sections of Naples, Italy, died in 1854.  Based on his work with the impoverished and ill, he was Beatified in 1995 and is currently in the process of being Canonized into Sainthood.
