Introduction

The international conference Coordination Dynamics 2007 will be held in Boca Raton, Florida, February 22-25, 2007 in honor of J.A. Scott Kelso's 60th birthday. It brings together scientists from the fields Scott Kelso has worked in and contributed to for more than 30 years. Leading researchers from the behavioral and brain sciences will give plenary lectures, which will be complemented by poster sessions and time for discussions. A conference proceedings volume will appear in the Springer Complexity Program Series: 'Understanding Complex Systems' entitled with the overall theme of the meeting: 'Coordination: Neural, Behavioral and Social Dynamics'.
