Conference Site:
The conference will take place at the Renaissance Hotel,
located at 2000 NW 19th Street in Boca Raton,
southwest of Glades Road and Military trail.Airports:
Three airports are at a reasonable distance from Boca Raton: West Palm Beach (30min), Fort Lauderdale (30min) and Miami (60min). The times in parentheses indicate the average travel time from the airport to the conference hotel in Boca Raton.Transportation from the airport to the hotel:
- Bus service: Palm-Tran is Palm Beach County's public bus transportation system and it offers regular services throughout Palm Beach County.
- Train service: You can use Amtrak or Tri-rail and then the feeder buses to get to the hotel.
- Shared shuttle service: (from West Palm Beach about $20)
- Limousine service: A1A Limo service. (from Miami about $90, from West Palm Beach about $60)
- Rental cars are available from major car rental companies at each of the three airports.
Accommodation
Our main conference hotel is the Renaissance Hotel in Boca Raton (former Sheraton) which is conveniently located in walking distance to the Boca Raton Town Center Mall and various restaurants and shopping centers. The reception and banquet will take place in the Hotel's tropical pool area. Conference rate of $199 per night is guaranteed until November 1st, 2006. We have blocked a number of rooms but we will have to release them by November 1st to avoid charges. February is peak season in South Florida, so we urge you to make your reservations as early as possible.
Important: Conference attendees should mention "FAU" at the hotel not just the name of the conference to book rooms and get the reduced rate.

- Delray Inn (a block from Atlantic Avenue). Has effiiciencies and one room apartments
