Transportation between the Seagate/Holiday Inn Hotels and the conference site:
There will be a trolley (see picture) service on Friday and Saturday, April 15th -16th, 2005. Two trolleys will leave the Seagate Hotel in the mornings and provide transport to the conference site at Florida Atlantic University. Both trolleys will stop at the Holiday Inn Highland Beach Hotel on the way. In the evenings, the trolleys will pick up the participants at the conference site and provide transport back to the two hotels. If you stay at a different hotel, you will have to arrange for your own transportation .

Airports:
Three airports are at a reasonable distance from Delray Beach: West Palm Beach (20min), Fort Lauderdale (30min) and Miami(60min). The times in parentheses indicate the average travel time from the airport to the conference hotel in Delray Beach.Transportation from the airport to the hotel:
- Bus service: Palm-Tran is Palm Beach County's public bus transportation system and it offers regular services throughout Palm Beach County.
- Train service: You could use Amtrak or Tri-rail and then used the feeder buses to get to the hotel.
- Shared shuttle service: (from West Palm Beach about $20)
- Limousine service: A1A Limo service. (from Miami about $90, from West Palm Beach about $60)
- Rental cars are available from major car rental companies at each of the three airports.
Accommodation
Our main conference hotel is the Seagate Hotel & Beach Club (Delray Beach) which is conveniently located in walking distance to Atlantic Avenue (10minutes along the beach). The reception and banquet will take place in the Beach house of the Seagate Hotel. Conference rate of $99 per night is guaranteed until March 15th, 2005.
Important: Conference attendees should mentions "FAU" at the hotel not just the name of the conference to book rooms.
Rooms are available on a first-come first-serve basis. Other accomodations may be found following these links:
- Delray Beach Marriot (on the beach and Atlantic Avenue)
- Colony Hotel in Delray Beach (located right in the heart of Atlantic Avenue)
- Holiday Inn Highland Beach (2809 S. Ocean Boulevard, Highland Beach, FL33487, 561.278.6241) is located half way between Boca Raton and Delray Beach on the beach. Conference rate of $89 per night is guaranteed until March 15th, 2005 (reference FAU code).
- Delray Inn (a block from Atlantic Avenue). Has effiiciencies and one room apartments
